Project Libre
An open source solution for project managers designed for project planning
ProjectLibre can be used as an alternative to Microsoft Project and other commercial applications for preparing the project schedule. Red Tie is the official representative of ProjectLibre solutions for the Czech and Slovak Republics.
ProjectLibre uses the standard planning functionality you are used to from other products:
- Gantt chart – basic display of planning tools
- Network diagram (network diagram)
- PERT diagrams
- WBS
- RBS
- Earned Value, etc.
The ProjectLibre application was created as a successor to the OpenProj application, which is no longer maintained and developed. It is translated into many world languages, 80% of the application is also translated into the Czech language. Other languages include English, French, Spanish, German, etc. ProjectLibre is distributed under the CPAL license and is available for the most used operating systems – Windows, Unix, Linux, Mac. ProjectLibre uses its own native .POD format, it can also open the formats of commercial applications Microsoft Project and Primavera.
